Our Philosophy
Bridge Community Church is a growing number of individuals committed to journeying together as we follow Christ in a life full of paradox - a world of joy and sadness, of laughter and grief, of love & pain. We are a Gospel-centered church, meaning that everything we do is grounded and rooted in the gospel. Because of the Gospel, we are able to honest about the hardest things in life - our sin, our sorrow, our shame - and we are simultaneously able to more fully enjoy our great God and the lives which He has given us.
Here at Bridge we believe that all of life is meant to be worship. This lifestyle of worship plays out in three ways: our Communion with God, our Community with His people, and our participation in the "Co-Mission" to which He has called His Church. We live this out according to God's Word, and we do so by the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Much of this is summed up in our church's mission statement - Bridge Community Church is a people united by Christ to one another for Mission. We believe that we exist, as the Westminster Shorter Catechism puts it, "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever", and we love to help others to do the same. We would love to be able to serve you in that way!
