Sunday Mornings
Our worship services are a time where we come before our great God as a whole church, through song, prayer, and the preaching of the Word, and meeting with the Lord at the Table. We are casual and relaxed, and would love to have you join us. Week in and week out there is a beautiful spread of food to partake of before, after, and even during the service. Not to mention coffee.
Our primary meeting space for worship is the Easton Area Community Center - 901 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042. We gather together and spend time singing, praying, hearing and responding to God's Word, and getting to know one another.
Our Sunday morning worship rhythm is a bit different than most. Although some contingent of Bridge is always meeting at the community center, we as a whole church alternate between meeting as one large group and in smaller house churches. If you happen to visit, it doesn't matter which Sunday you come - there will be people worshiping at the community center every week, so you will never show up to an empty building! And should you choose to plant roots with us, we would love to plug you into one of the various house churches that meets in the area.
House churches provide a great setting for smaller social interactions, a more intimate discussion about God's Word, and a chance to share our joys and sorrows with those in the group. It's also a great time to eat together. House churches go through the sermon from the week before and are therefore seen almost as a continuation and overflow of large group worship, but in a much more intimate setting.
Special Services
At times throughout the year, Bridge will hold a different type of worship service. Some of the more common ones are Good Friday, Christmas Eve, and other services based around the church calendar. There are some unique Sundays however where we do something different - like worship at the park and hold a picnic. All of those things will be on the website in case you would like to join us for one!
